Radio automation FAQ

What does Prime Radio AutoDJ do?

AutoDJ plays your station playlist when no live broadcaster is connected. A live source can take over, and AutoDJ can resume after that source disconnects.

Can I schedule playlists for specific times?

There is currently no customer-facing timed AutoDJ playlist scheduler. The weekly schedule publishes programme information for listeners; it does not control AutoDJ playback times.

Can I use AzuraCast or LibreTime through Prime Radio?

Prime Radio does not currently provide a managed AzuraCast or LibreTime connection. External playout tools would need to be configured and operated separately.

Can I use other software to broadcast live?

Compatible encoders can connect using your station’s broadcast settings. See the help centre for setup guidance and supported examples.

What audio can I upload?

Supported file types and per-plan track limits are listed in the AutoDJ dashboard and help guide. Only upload audio you are authorized to broadcast.
